Just like the title says, I'd like the high-wealth lights to be replaced with the medium wealth ones. $$$ lights don't put out a light cone and that makes the streets look quite dark, especially with gizmo's day/night mod. Is this possible?
Well, instead of replacing the whole $$$ lightpole props with the $$ lightpole props, I merely replaced the small lights in the $$$ lightpoles with the smallest lightcone available, the 6 m tall one:

Note, that I did not replace the three lightbulbs in the lamp posts that appear in the garden of the Mayor's house above.
The mod is attached to this post!
And, yes, it will find its way to the LEX some day... together with some other mods... ::)
EDIT:
Mod removed from here and uploaded on the LEX instead:

RJ, we definitely need to create a mini-mods section!
Excellent! That looks perfect!
This mod is now available on the LEX:

I don't know if you've noticed, but a small fraction of my $$$ Ave lights don't put out the light cone, but the rest do. I'm not sure if it's just he Ave ones or if other networks are affected. Any thoughts?

Would you have a picture, so that I could see which lightpole it is?

Here we go, both working and non.
There is a total of 4 $$$ street lamps with banners:
- 1 with red banners
- 1 with blue banners
- 2 with yellow banners

And all those are included in my mod, as well as the diagonal one:

0x6534284A, 0xC977C536, 0x2ABB0000 | Streetlight1x1x11_$$$Streetlightdiagonal_2ABB |
All these modified streetlights only use the 6 m tall lightcone; 0x5AD0E817,0xBADB57F1,0x09C6E584
Searching SimCity_1.dat for the default lightbulb, 0x5AD0E817,0xBADB57F1,0x29DA0000, only finds 7 props using it:
0x6534284A, 0xC977C536, 0x1DFB0000 | C1x1x8_$$lamppost_1DFB |
0x6534284A, 0xC977C536, 0x1DFC0000 | C1x1x8_$$$lamppost_1DFC |
0x6534284A, 0xC977C536, 0x2A590000 | Streetlight1x1x11_$$$Streetlight_2B29 |
0x6534284A, 0xC977C536, 0x2A5A0000 | Streetlight1x1x11_$$$StreetlightBanner1_2A5A |
0x6534284A, 0xC977C536, 0x2A5B0000 | Streetlight1x1x11_$$$StreetlightBanner2_2A5B |
0x6534284A, 0xC977C536, 0x2A5C0000 | Streetlight1x1x11_$$$StreetlightBanner3_2A5C |
0x6534284A, 0xC977C536, 0x2ABB0000 | Streetlight1x1x11_$$$Streetlightdiagonal_2ABB |
The first two ones are the lamp posts I didn't change, the $$ one having one bulb and the $$$ one having 3 bulbs (as seen in the Mayor's House garden).
...
Looking closer at your picture, there seems to be something resembling a bus stop where the dark streetlight is... :-\
If it's residing on a plopped custom lot, you would probably have to replop it to change the lights...
An odd quirk about avenues is that the T21 props get placed on transit-enabled lots by the game, regardless if the player wants the props there or not.
Just out of curiosity, did you also replace the light globes with light cones for the "flipped" versions of the $$$ street lamp props? That is what the RTK 4xm property is for. It is for displaying the flipped version of props that use the RKT4 property so they appear correctly when a network tile is flipped.
