Title: Elevated Rail over Road Stations?
Post by: wes.janson on April 26, 2008, 04:54:44 PM
Is this possible? They have on in Burnaby (A somewhat suburb of Vancouver, BC) Linkie (http://archrecord.construction.com/projects/portfolio/archives/Images/0301skytrain.jpg)
It's a nighttime photo, but its the best one I could find showing the station being over the road.

Would this suffer from the same problems that the Road Top tranist package suffers (Making the sims forget)?

Any Station lot that is placed to force cars through the lot will cuase this issue of "forgetting".  Its not only cars but ANY sim, whether he is from car, pedestrian, train, etc.  Station Lots are designed to be switch points from one type to another type of transportation.  We do not want Sims to be using these Switch Points if they are not actually using it as a "switch" because it will confuse and reset the pathfinding of that Sim.
