These scones literaly take like 5 minutes or something, I remember my mum telling me how she made them for her flatmates at nurses school at like midnight after a night on the town... yes they are literaly that easy to make.

Mmmmm, I love scones! Can't wait for the recipe.
And Pat, most coffeeshops (including Starbucks) sell scones. Although they're usually not round, they're more of a triangular-ish shape.
I guess the best way to describe them would be a combination of a muffin and a biscuit. They're like muffins because there's usually stuff in the batter, but they're drier like biscuits, and they go good with coffee.
