Hello,
Just incase anyone was wondering,
Lassi
(Indian yogurt drink)
Yield: 2-3 servings
Hardware
Blender
Software
1 1/2 cups Yogurt
3 Tbsp Cream (opt.)
1/2 to 1 cup Fruit of your choice chopped
5-6 Tbsp Sugar
9-10 each Ice cubes
Preparation
Puree all the software in the blender and serve in a tall, cold glass on a hot day.
Good fruit choices are mangoes, papayas, strawberries, melons, lemons. You can use anything you like really.
Enjoy,
Robin
mmmm that sounds real good here Robin and btw could one throw a little Vodka into the mix and make a good dinner drink out of it?
You might be able to, but I hate vodka, I'm a rum drinker. ;) Just remember that the drink is mainly yogurt, not too sure how good alcohol will be with it. Give it a try and tell us.
Robin
I don't think vodka would work, but I'm sure you could replace the cream with Bailey's Irish Cream, for a little kick.
There you go Pat. Now that sounds good.
Robin ;)
I had a mango lassi the other night at an Indian restaurant - it was delicious!! Goes really well with a nice korma... ;D
The Mango ones are very nice.
ummm Robin that was Nate that said to use Bailey's lol :D IM pat and IM NOT A MONKEY $%Grinno$% &hlp :angrymore: :bomb: >:( sorry I couldnt resist lol......
Anyways I was talking it over with my wife who really loves to umm yea drink errrr cook and she agrees that Rum would also be a better choice then vodka but also the Bailey's Irish Cream for a kick didnt sound bad at all.....
Pat my friend, you are reading it wrong.
I was saying to you, "There you go Pat. Now that sounds good." For you to try it not that I was replying to you.
Robin
