Hello faithful Simcity4 players. As the subject states, I am stuck in Afghanistan and have no way of getting custom content for my game. I purchased a new laptop before leaving and had no time to copy what little I did have downloaded from various other sites including some things from this site. I do have fairly regular access to the internet, however, downloading anything takes an insane amount of time. I just recently went ahead and donated to simtropolis to pick up the cd and dvd so that will give me a pretty good start but I was wondering if anyone would be willing to burn they're plugins folder for me and mail it to me. I would be glad to send money to more than cover the cost of the disk and time and shipping cost. I am just in a real hard place and as you all probably know, this game is just not the same without the custom content.
If no one is willing to help me, no big deal. I just thought I would present the idea as it would save me countless hours of waiting 20 minutes or more for a single 4mb download, multiplied by several hundred or even thousand. Plus the time it would save testing every single lot making sure they all work properly.

buckeyefreak, I'm sorry about your slow Internet connection. I understand you're connected over satellite.

If someone would be so kind to help, I'd ask that someone to contact
buckeyefreak directly over PM or mail, though.
It might be helpful to know with which army you're deployed, as it would probably be cheaper and quicker for both parties to use a national Military Mail system.
My apologies, I completely forgot about saying I am in the US Army. There are quite a few different countries here right now and working with them all is a very different experience, a good one, and one that I will never forget!
