Title: Glr and normal rail crossing
Post by: Herodotus on July 24, 2008, 03:20:58 PM
One more new topic. I'm installing a glr in one of my avenues and I don't think that there is a normal rail piece that will let the normal rail cross the glr.

Well, if you're referring to having Rail cross GLR-in-AVE, such a piece is not possible.  The game limits puzzle pieces to two network types maximum, and that piece would involve three networks.  I'd suggest tunneling the Rail underneath in that situation.

If you're referring to Rail/GLR (by itself) crossings, use Draggable GLR.  The functionality is there, plus with the Draggable GLR, you don't have the risk of CTDs that you get with the puzzle pieces.

Hope that answers your questions!

Another possibility is to temporarily widen your GLR-in avenue to three tiles using the last GLR-in-avenue puzzle piece.  Then you can have a grade crossing with your rail (or any other network).
