Title: How to create regions and different size cities
Post by: Bentleys_n_drama on October 15, 2008, 05:04:22 PM
I've been using Terraformer v1.1 for quite some time now. I been gathering up information and tutorials on how to create my own regions and maps. The question I have and I am sure ya'll been asked this a million times. I'm wanting to know how to create a region with multiple different size cities. Small, Medium and Large and also how to mix them up inside the region. What is Sc4Mapper all about is it anything like Terraformer? I've tried downloading it a couple of times and I've experienced some problems with it loading. I'm guessing it might be because of Vista? I'm not sure. Thank Ya'll again for the great site..

one good starting point is to go visit the omnibus (http://www.simtropolis.com/forum/categories.cfm?catid=141&entercat=y) at ST and especially CONFIG.BMP:  How To Make It, and How To Make It Yours (http://www.simtropolis.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=141&threadid=76200&enterthread=y) which will tell you exactly how to create small/medium/big cities in your region

As for SC4Mapper, it is a lightweight version of SC4TF which does not provide any terraforming tools, but allow you to just save/create region to/from png/jpg/sc4m files, and yes on some Vista PC, it doesn't work
