Ok, I've recently run into this problem where I can't get my roadways to connect to each other.

This happened once before when I was using a slope mod and the problem was fixed by simply removing the slope mod from my plugins folder. Since I was using another slope mod, I removed it like before and went back into the game, only to find that the problem still exists. Any ideas why this happening?
This is how I fix this issue (I get it to),
I demolish about 10 tiles of strait road (if you can) then I re drag the road, it should work.
Or you can edit the road examplar of the slope mod.

Un1 - I already removed the slope mod, so that's not the problem this time around. &mmm
The game slope mod should be able to link those 2 roads without a problem
Can you go 90° and join them later ?
Troy , try to smooth the terrain where the road don't want to connect, and rebuilt a road after ....
I think that should work....

Hey Troy sorry I didnt get back to your PM about it last night.... It seems you're getting some help here on this as I have no clue on this matter... It happens to me too... Is this Adam's Slope mod per chance?
Pat - Nope, not the slope mod, and not the God mode Terrain tools mod either. I took both of them out and still have the same problem >:( ...it's something else you sent me, or had me dl for what I needed to plop water.....
art128 - I'd have to do that with every roadway crossing in my city. $%Grinno$% Uh-uh. That takes away from the natural look of the terrain and then the fact that I've never had to level to get my roadways to connect unless the incline was too steep. A little bump that's in the pic I posted above should pose no problem what-so-ever, at least in my 4+ yrs experience playing the game.
Wou - I've tried everything to get the road ends to connect [this happens with all road types, one-ways, avenues etc etc] and nothing works except straight line roads, won't let do diagonal, once I try to connect a straight stretch of road, it won't connect because a very slight elevation difference. I've tried leveling in those spots, but get the same results. Like I mentioned above, I've been taking out of my plugins mods I thought might be the cause, but to no avail. &mmm
Does it happens with an empty plugins ?
Are you sure you didn't get Ennedi latest slope mod ( in the NHP thread IIRC ) which only allow flat network. This is my best bet
I finally figured out what it was ;D I removed the Hole Digger and Raiser Lots from my plugins, then went back into the game and the problem was gone ;D I ended up playing the game the game all day yesterday and well into the evening :D Funny how you lose track of time when playing this game :P

Ahh I see so them little buggers put a small restriction then hmmm that is weirdness.... I do know the feeling of getting lost in playing the game there Troy it happened to me the other day lol....
