I could have sworn there was a thread, like this, but a search revealed nothing, soooooo.....
Here, you can showcase any top secret military installations you have built in your cities.  I'll start.

Looks like the SimNation army did a good job with camouflaging those properly. ;) I am not that much into war stuff, but this training camp looks excellent indeed. Really well done!  :thumbsup:

I remember that thread. It was Show us your Military Might.... I also wondered why it was removed. I noticed before the clean up there were 4 pages of show us your... threads . Now, there's only 3.

Yes, it's from the GRV Region, in Tile L. But I don't actively show any pictures.

I know the 'military airport' doesn't really look like a military airport, but there's a good reason for that.. The airport is officially still property of the LLL Military Holding, so it's army property, but it is currently being lent out to a private airport company since the Holding was in need of bare cash, and LLL Military doesn't own any airplanes (except for one C-130 and two F-16's) anymore, after most of them were lost in an abroad war.

I guess the 'military' airport is a bit off, but it looks very nice, casper. I especially like the military camp at the lower part.

The Fafalonia Unified Defense District houses all branches of the military at a base located right next to the largest metropolitan area, and protects the entire region. Here's a peak at a couple fighter squadrons. This is only a small part of the air base, which takes nearly half of the large tile that the base covers. I'll show other areas later. Or I'll make a MD, I don't know... I can't really compete with the quality of the ones people here make yet.

It's part of the Euk prop pack (http://www.simtropolis.com/stex/details.cfm?id=3056), which was released separately from the author's Lockheed Skunkworks (http://www.simtropolis.com/stex/details.cfm?id=3048) lot. If you like that, you'll love the B2 that's in it.

Here is an SNM Air Base "Freeport Coast Guard Air Station" in Eaton Couty which is located 40 miles west of Eaton-City Center. It also has a Naval Patrol Wing 4 located ajacent the runway. The Navy share the airfield with the SNM Coast Guard. While the patrol wing is task with hunting submarines and surface threats, the Coast Guard is tasked with Search and Resue and Patrol and support of Eaton Bay.

I don't know much about military bases but yours are very convincing to me. I especially like the Spira Island base. The helicopter area looks great.

Vantara Military Base is situated in the northwestern sector of the nation. Nearby is a border checkpoint leading to the Federation of Grittf.

Shown here is the housing facility, each building contains several hotel-style rooms where soldiers and their families live.
