Hello all ;) I never had an idea to name my cities, so i call it Praha. But my city isn't recreation  of capital city in Czech Republic.

Praha i located somewere in Central Europe, my inspiration was pre-war and today's Warsaw, Berlin, Vienna and other cities of this region.

I know that is very similar to Austrian emblem, but i was to lazy to made new one from scratch ;)

I'm building my city from 2007 or 2006, not sure. And I will start here showing images from the begining of my city building. Of course in the future I will start showing newer photographs ;)

Just gotta love that old town lotting! Very well done with the brick sidewalks and the cobble stone "streets" and the composition of buildings is second to nothing  :)

Great start! Very Euro-looking. However, a different, oplder-looking bus skin might be wise, Maxis ones are eyesores.

Actually the Maxis buses are European (I think they're Den Oudstens) so I don't think that they look too bad :P

What a great start to this MD! I think you really captured the feel of a cozy European town. I love all the walkways and plazas. And I love that you did that by making the roads feel few and spread out. It looks like its very convenient for pedestrians. Are all those plaza's pedestrian-enabled lots?

Great update, the first picture is my favourite.  At forst I thought some one BATted a diagonal square building and than on second look I see what you did.  Very clever.

But an advice: don't fool of El-train ;). In my opinion, it's not appropriate with european cities like yours ;)

Sciurus - Thank you. I think light rail  looks quite nice, my inspiration was S-bahn in Berlin, and Wiener Stadtbahn.

Super update.  Usually abandoned buildings don't lok good, first picture top left, but in this case I think it looks great.  Your use of the rail lines is really well done.  Just wait until the STR is released and than you could replace some of the thsoe double lines that go into the industrial buildings/lots.

Yay someone is making my hometown! Great Job trying to recreate it but i personaly believe that a canal pack is better than an actual "liquid" recreation of the Vltava. :thumbsup: &apls

Hey there Ferox! I didn't know you had a MD :D And I have to say that I can't believe how unbelievably unlucky were I. It's great to see some MDs which's authors are from your country.

So, regarding the update, It was a nice one. Nothing extremely fency, but nothing worse neither. Very cood choice of buildings is the first thing I notice. The diagonal apartaments look really nice. Using Krio's diagonals in this way is definitely a nice touch. My biggest complaint would be lack of traffic and people on streets, especially on the first two pictures.

On the other hand, the big plus is the awesome usage of trees. Makes the area looks fuller and nicer :thumbsup:

An update in Praha always makes my day complete.... and today is no exception!

I absolutely felt in love with the residential blocks. The diagonals, parkings, footpaths and grassfields give it a very realistic feeling.... Well done mate  &apls

This CJ was interesting to see, nice job with Your relotting of various buildings!
The last update was particulalrly interesting because of the "dirty" look, garbage in the backyard, crimescenes and so on...

Nice condos there for sure, Feroxx ! You've done a great job with that housing estate. I really like the first picture, with the containers towers, that give to the city a nice feel of a post-industrial city, and that colorful atmosphere give more life to the city also as the others housing.  The last picture with these houses is nicely done too I like that modern suburbs area.
