Title: Does this strategy work?
Post by: kunik1962 on January 16, 2009, 09:43:34 PM
Up to now I have always followed this strategy for creating my cities etc in a region.    Is this method okay or am I missing something.

1.   I always build a power plant and garbage processing center in their own region and then connect it to the main City I will be making.    I then use the neighborhood deals to supply power and handle garbage for the city I "care" about.   I then rarely visit this place.

2.   I always zone the dirty / manufacturing industrial zones in their own city (sometimes the same one with the power and garbage (from above).   Now this city has nothing but a grid for all these industries.   I never zone commercial or residential.   All the workers then come from my main city.

3.   Also does the Country Club Reward do much or is it even necessary?

Is there a better way to do this stuff?
