Title: Terrain mod issues o'plenty
Post by: pagenotfound on January 25, 2009, 09:47:26 AM
I have followed the instructions in the readme, made sure theres only ONE terrain mod in the plugins and made sure I installed right. BUT, I still have the maxis textures and I dont know why :bomb:  Interestingly any rock mods i use work fine.

What is going on here? ()what()

Page,

It would help if you told us which terrain mod you are trying to use and where you got it from. Once we have that information, we will have a easier time trying to troubleshoot your problem.

Well I am trying to get the CPT Meadowshire mod to work. And I do have the two dependencies all CPT mods require.

So, do you have a file that begins with CPT_No3, CPT_No4, CPT_No5, and CPT_No6 installed?

Page, please test your CPT stuff in the empty Plugins folder, then inform us if you see textures.

(If you don't know how to do it easy: rename your current Plugins folder adding any letter to it, create a new folder in SC4 and call it "Plugins" - this one will be used by the game. Now put your Meadowshire Terrain and it's dependencies ie. CPT3 and 4, exactly as you did it earlier. Don't put anything else to your test Plugins folder).

I was just going to post essentially what Ennedi posted. :D  Hopefully you can find a conflicting file somewhere. %confuso

Thanks guys for your help. In addition to the terrain mod problem I had a water mod problem. I found the files that were conflicting with both mods.
If one of you mods come by feel free to lock or delete this thread.
