I have been downloading custom content and mods for a while and recently started reading up on the CAM. I am interested in it, but it seems like the added population would seriously impare my poor pc. It gets rather laggy now as it is, and am wondering if I should just wait to tackle the whole CAM Mod after upgrading my computer. Is anyone out there using this mod that has experienced performance issues? Also, any suggestions to get SimCity running faster? Seems to have slowed down quite a bit after adding alot of plugins.
SC4DatPacker. Speeds it up, as the game has less files to load. Made a big differenc eon my newer machine, can't hurt on an older one!
