I'm not sure if this exists or not, but is there a mod that eliminates the appearance of wild animals when you place flora?
I don't like having wild horses running around my mountains, to be quite frank. I've tried turning cars/sims to low but they still appear, with their bear and llama friends.
Any help would be appreciated. :)
Scripted automata can't be removed by the game's detail settings. The wildlife is controlled by LUA script in the game's files. I've attached a modified version that shouldn't spawn the animals.
There is another way to remove the wildlife, but that involves editing all the flora exemplars, both the Maxis ones and others' custom flora. Editing the script file is much easier.

Hey Jan that is soo sweet that you was able to get that done!!! I know this will be perfect for me with my new region I am working in... BTW are you going to put this up on the LEX?
Not sure if I want to put it up on the LEX by itself. Seems silly to me, but if you insist that I do so, I'll see about getting it up there.

Yep, such a small file... but a "No... No... Pack" could be made with things like your file, plus the No Pigeons on Statues, No Seaguls that I've seen Tage posting somewhere, No Waves, etc... &idea
I thought it was silly to put those small mods onto the LEX myself,
but Lee insisted and that's where they ended up...
In other words, Jan, I insist... No Wildlife on the LEX... ::)
HEHEHEHE that would be great to have a BSC Mega Pack of NO NO's... Would the installer be able to be setup like in the NAM where the end user could pick and choose what mod they wanted???

It can be done, easily.;)
Thanks for letting me know there Silvio as since I have never played with making an installer... I am a smart I send my files out to get done if I use an installer...
