Hello to all.

I started playing again, and I like it very much. Currently I am creating a medium sized town of around 250k residents (its 13k now). Until now it has been easy, but in my opinion it doesn't loook very well. Check these pictures:

You will see some large strips of land that has nothing in it, and I do not know what to do with 'em. Anyone got ideas on sets I might be able to use? I am looking for lots with some random trees on it, yet I can't find them (not seasonal). The Mayor mode planting I find difficult to use, it plops trees on places where I don't want it to. I do have the BSC park set.

As for Canals, well, no, they don't have any trees on them.

Any Idea's? All are welcome, especially if you find some sets I can use.

The SFBT Diagonal Filler Lots [linkie] (http://sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=1197) are my personal favorites for this situation. They are not seasonal, and they include orthogonal tiles as well, with random trees. There are some dependencies, but I think that the ability to use these lots makes each and every one of them worth downloading and installing.
