When install It show "Unable to read registry"

Why?

How I do ?

Becuase you didn't install SC4
either because
-you used a non legal copy
-you just copy from another pc
-you running the installer without enough privileges

i have the same problem. is there another place to install it besides simcity.ea.com?

You can download Lot Editor here by clicking the link at the top of the page for EA Support. Accept the EULA and navigate to the Lot Editor page.
