Whenever I try to transit enable a lot in sc4 tool, the box says "not found"
Could you please help?
If your using Vista, unless you can do run this progam in compatibility mode XP you will not get the textures to work.
where there is a box for the textures, the textures do not appear and say not found but i can see them in lot editor
the image you are seeing is because its not a maxis default texture, so SC4Tool will not read it if you used a custom texture... My advice is to use a standerd maxis texture in the area you want to TE and then go back into LE and change it from there...
this is what i mean (https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg127.imageshack.us%2Fimg127%2F724%2Fsimcitytexturenotfoundm.jpg&hash=889a08f54d5a945a2239413751e8a040b7b15257)[/ (http://img127.imageshack.us/my.php?image=simcitytexturenotfoundm.jpg)
Hi Danierlra96 OK just as I thought about you should use first a maxis texture to get a base where you want the TE'ing to go... Then after you do that go back into LE and change the texture...
Pat,
He is using Maxis textures on his lot. I can tell just by the ID's shown at the bottom of the screen.

Ahh OK I didnt see that part there Jan thank you... Now I have no clue why its not showing at all???
so what should i do?
By any chance, did you set the paths to your SC4 installation properly? SC4Tool should read all Maxis textures and those that are inside your plugins folder automatically during the startup of the TE Editor. Please check SC4Tool's options and set the paths manually, if necessary. As I told you at Simtropolis, TE'ing should work without the textures being displayed, though, as they only serve as a visual aid. If you know how they look in the game, you don't have to display them in SC4Tool.
i got it to work in the game but it is not transit enabled
