Er... Well, I'm Piotr aka Sheep49, and I'm going to make my own version of BorderTown. Here. In this board. (Have I admitted that it's an extraordinary feeling to have your own board? :D)
Anyways, since I didn't have a chance to participate in the last year's first edition, I figured out 'Why not?' and decided to try my best in this one. I'm not hoping to win, since there are many, many other more talented SC4 players than me, but then, who knows? I'm sure of only one thing: that I gonna have lots of fun here! I can't wait for all that evenings spent figuring out what to do and how to fulfill the challange. ::) ;)
...I bet you don't want to hear about it, d'ya? Yeah, of course you wanna the region. So, without further monologue, here you are, the first ever, preview of the BorderTown by Sheep49!

...Hm? Ah, you're right! I almost forgot about the mods! Well... No beach texture mod, the main terrain mod is a Meadowshire one by cycledogg aka c.p. I'm also using dogfight's 'Dark Ingeneous' rock mod, and, of course, a water mod favourite of mine: Cold Blue by dogfight. I very rarely use the god mod tree planting, thus I can't seem to recall which tree controller do I use.
Well, that's the end of the introduction, I guess. I'll see you on the dark si...* um... later... $%Grinno$%

*A REALLY obvious Pink Floyd reference.
Powodzenia!
Good luck Piotr!

Another nice introduction. Winning the game is not the main feature of this challenge, it is participating, having fun and learn from others. Good luck with your region. I like that you named your rivers and mountains. Make sure that trees will be planted where usually trees grow, we like trees and sometimes give Bonus points if it is nicely done and well applied. Just a hint. ;)

I must admit, having a board does make me feel impartant. ()stsfd()
You have a great approach to playing this. I'm pretty inexperienced with SC4, but just imagining how this will all play out is already very entertaining. The region's backstory and corporate planning have influenced my direction of approach in the first challenge.
I hope you have fun and good luck!
