I have a basic understanding of how and why the sidewalks appear alongside roads. Basically, plop or grow a lot close to the road and depending on it's "wealth" effect, this determines the sidewalk and grass verges. Not a problem in a residential area but does anyone know a mod to remove this. Sidewalks in rural areas just don't fit in.

The obvious fix I guess is to make sure you don't plop or grow anything closer than 1 tile to the road, but that can be impractical.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
