Okay, this feels very stupid, but I'm asking anyway:
How can I make the corner indicated by the red square, the same as the corner encircled? (I mean, the same terrain elevation)

Thanks,
Pat

Do you mean at the top or the bottom? Do you have the "terrain query" cheat? You might wanna look at the most recent pages of Three Rivers Regionhttp://sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=112.7760 (http://sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=112.7760). David has been dicussing fine terraforming. It might help.
Sorry it showed the entire link but I can't get the hyperlink to work properly lately.
These two squares will look different if you will keep the height difference as is. Sloped tile on the corner is divided by two triangles and it is done in two different ways depending on the tile orientation. This is a consequence of the game graphic features. But it appears only at lower slopes, up to certain height difference:
- If you use the slope mod - up to approx. 14 m
- If you don't use the slope mod - up to approx. 23 m
The soulution in your situation is to increase the level difference between upper and lower avenue. Only a tiny bit, not more. You will see that it's enough if you will see rock texture on the slope. At this moment both corner tiles will look identical, in addition the corner wall tile will look correctly if you will plop it.
I hope it is clear :)

Is this what you mean?

Still doesn't work out however...
1. Do you use the Diagonal Jagged edges or not?
2. If yes, lower also these two tiles between the frame "14 m" and "15 m".
3. If not, you must have over at least 23,5 m height difference.
Looking at your pictures (texture on straigh tiles along the lower avenue) I suppose that you don't use DJEM. If you will install it, you will not be forced to lower the terrain so much. You can find the Diagonal Jagged Edges mod in the LEX, search by creator (Ennedi).

I think I have the same problem

You need to download a Diagonal jagged edges mod.

thanx
Okay I have a question regarding this DJEM. Is there a version that works with the THL terrain pack [linkie] (http://www.simtropolis.com/stex/details.cfm?id=4483). I have recently found this terrain pack and really like the way it can be manipulated to look like places I am sorta familiar with. One of them I have made to look like what I envision the Austrailian Outback might look like. Hopefully someone can help me with this.
