Title: AC funtional airports dependencies
Post by: horaholic on May 24, 2009, 02:23:14 PM
According to the cleanitalls, I have all the depenencies, but I am missing textures on the runway areas. When I load the city, I get  a popup box that says I am missing plugin pack 1778770243. Does anyone know how to use that number to find the right dependency?

Could you query the runway in the game and provide a picture as well?

Well, I just tried to get rid of a few excess plugins, and it totally screwed my city up, and I couldnt fix it, so I wiped it out. I was getting more of those popup screens saying I needed plugin packs so and so, with more numbers. There's no way to use the numbers to find the mod?

I'm going to totally redo all my mods, so I'll try it again, and hopefully it will work

Thanx for the reply, though.

Well, that number is the instance ID of the missing plugin, which in HEX would be 6a05e143.
If you're lucky, you'd find that number in the filename of the missing plugin.

However, there's no record of used instance ID's... $%Grinno$%

If that number would have been automatically assigned by Maxis' PluginManager,
then we'd know it was created at 2.6.2002 06:25:07.

However, since there wasn't any SC4 at that date, it seems as if that Instance ID was randomly generated by the creator.
That would also most certainly mean the number is not included in the filename (which is given by the PluginManager).
