I don't really know if this is considered a brainbuster (or even a discovery) to begin with, but I was completely baffled over the years of playing SC4 and not being able to rename my city anything more than just a single word. If you type a space, you get nothing after the space. For some reason last night I felt like quoting the name like this to see what happens:
whererufrom "City Name"
It turns out the quotations were interpreted and my cities can be renamed to anything including multiple words, which I originally hoped for. Hopefully this helps anyone else out who has had the same issue with the cheat, and if you knew about this sooner let me know so I can slap myself on the forehead. I honestly never noticed this on any SC4 cheat list, so I'm not sure how many know about it.
Funny, I was having that same problem and had no idea how to fix it. Thanks for the helpful tip. ;)
Excellent! I had no idea of this!
Thanks for sharing! I was experiencing that problem too!

Well, this has been discovered as early as 2007, at least. See this topic on ST [linkie] (http://www.simtropolis.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=22&threadid=92124&highlight_key=y&keyword1=change%20city%20name), and then the fourth post. Doesn't mean that I don't appreciate your efforts, or that I knew of this topic existed on ST 'till today.
Regards,
Korot
What I always did was Alt+0160 the space in.
