I have this lot as Paris buildings.
I would like to leave the roundabout and I do not have this problem. %confuso
The problem arises when I want to do Transit Enabled.
do not know how to make a path in SC4Tool. ()what() :angrymore: &mmm
Someone help me? :)
You cant custom path in SC4Tool (I dont think), you will need the Path Editor (here (http://sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=546) I think) and this topic (http://sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=6400.0) seems to be where to ask for help (after reading the readme of course ;) ) :)
hope this helps
Joe
Where did you get the roundabout road textures? Are they from NAM?
Then their pathfiles should be available too, and you won't need to make then anew.
@cogeo: Nope, it's not the NAM, but JENX Bourse de Commerces BSC. (http://sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=1525) I don't know if this LOT is pathed.
Thank you very much for your help mrtnrln.
Read about this program and I hope to do is roundabout
No offense to JoeST and Daeley, but the easiest way to make (brand-new) paths for these might be not Path Creator, but instead... BAT (for making the curves, and getting the offsets easily - well, you will need some manul work too, copy and paste), and Excel (for offsetting the paths' coordinates). That's how I would make this.
Tips:
- The lot consists of 4 rotationaly symmetrical quarters. You shouldn't make different pathfiles for each one tile, instead the pathfiles can be rotated 4 times (just like the textures are rotated).
- For making left-hand-driving versions, you could use the automatic IIDs mapping features, eg give the RHD ones IIDs in the 0x5####### range and the LHD ones in the 0x7####### range. The 0x5####### range is managed by the NAM Team, and you should normally request a short IDs range. There are many unused (and unusable) such ranges, being the result of "holes" from puzzle pieces. If you use them there will be no problem, but it would be best to LET the NAM Team know.
- There is a little (visual) problem with the pedestrians, some props are placed were the pedestrian paths would normaly lie on, maybe they could be moved a little.
here's the pathing on the roundabout, don't mind the missing road textures. As you can see, the pathing is a bit screwed up on the upper left side of the lot.

The roundabout should all go the same way, it is more like a OWR than a normal one ;)
Joe
just use the overlay to make it.
