DESCRIPTION
The Miliwaki islands are a fictional set of islands in the Pacific. Miliwaki City is the Capital city and the Capital Port City. It was founded in 1917 and was slowly built up from there. Because of limited space the cities are built up more than out and are compacted close together. The ring Island was created by a prehistoric Volcano Called Mt Edward that sits in the middle of a huge bay. The country is Still new and the sims are still developing arias and some unknown arias too. The arias on the map are the arias that are fully developed. The main source of transportation is Boats, Automobiles and Bicycles but a airport has been proposed.
I like the map you're working with. Hand-made or is it something you downloaded? Wonder where the airport would go too. That strip of land off the big island seems like a good spot, if a bit out of the way of everything else, but you could always go the route of Kansai Intl. and make your own island for it. Looking forward to some close ups and a bit of a tour. Until then, nice start.
R #1:Remember the whole region hasn't been developed yet I'm thinking of putting it on a sepperate island in a bigger city that I havn't made yet.
R #2:Yes this is a custom region made by hand. It is hard to harmonise the elevation of each tile with eachother.
You did a very nice job with the land formation. I like it very much. I'll certainly be back for more.

Talking about shopping the Maple Bay Mallway has underground parking and 4 international companies. It was built in 1994 but construction was only finished in 1997 because of construction flaws. It features a seasonal plaza rented spaces heated stores although tempratures in the winter are temprate anyways, underground parking and 3 floors 2 open to surface 1 underground floor.

Club Foods is a Grandian Based Company from (Grand Forks BC my CJ at Simtropolis) and since this is a colony of the Grandian Federation than this store was set up here because to go international they would have to go through alot more paperwork and besides theres not much competition.

Post block 1934. It was built in 1934 just before the ecenomic bust. It was added a 2nd floor in 1947 and had to be upgraded quite a few times but it still serves as the main local post office.

I like the expansion of the map, and it's nice to see that you've terraformed it yourself. It is a bit tricky to get the borders to match up sometimes, but you've done a fine job. I like the look of the first community we get to see here. Maple Bay may look small, but from your pics it seems that there is plenty to see. Remarkably reasonable prices for the Westin too. I'm curious to know the story behind the plane you can see in the overview though. I didn't notice it mentioned in the update. As for updating your "membership," it's based on post count and will go up with time. Nice work with the update.

Oh that plane was Called Betties nightmare it was an anti sub from 1944-1949. It was in the Fox Trot squadron and scored 43 bombing runs and 5 enemy fighter kills.

It houses the city offices st the top 4 floors, The Tourism Beauracy on the 2nd and 3rd floors, It houses a radio tower on the roof, radio brodcasting, MNN news broadcasting and MNN news offices and an italian bastil pastas resteraunt on the bottem floor and the rest is either IBM Banking and financing offices or other smaller design studios and offices.

Cross road Market. Probably one of the oldest landmarks cross roads markets was built for the townspeople and merchants to exchange goods. Back in the day it was used so merchant ships could sell thiey're products without having to wait to sell it to shops first, but now its more of a farmers market with crafts and kettle corn, produce, paintings etc. The story behind the name is because it is on a cross of roads or an intersection and at the time it was the center of the town.

Club movie rentals on the left corner of the intersection on carver street no longer just sells movies it also now sells albums, ipods, and video games and video geme machines like x box, wii, gamecube, psp, playstation 3 etc. Beside it is Kitty Coblers a local dept store and a pharmacy. Above the Pharmacy is Beacon production offices, a local TV station. Also if you havn't already noticed some streets downtown are coble stone. They are the old roads and the residence take pride in being the city with the most coble stone streets.

Dawson Park is a very relaxing enviorment especialy with the many resteraunts, lounges, stores and hotel. Young couples love kissing in the gazebos at night especialy because its suppose to give you a happy relationship.

The space refueling project is in full swing and construction has been started east of plueto.
That's a nice looking city. I like the prospect of a sci-fi element here. Plenty of water ice out near Pluto you can make hydrogen fuel from. Great idea! :thumbsup:
Eventhough it is a pretty interesting MD so far I'm not sure if I follow this anymore .... 1 - 1.5 mb for one single pic is just too much, sorry.

First, the pictures and region look very good, and the cities are great.
Well, I can't speak for everyone else, but I don't think picture file size would make or break a mayor diary. Most people aren't inclined to comment every single time, so views are a much better indicator of readers' interest.
Though, it won't hurt to resave the in-game pictures to .jpg (slight quality loss, with much smaller file size).

jimbo_jj: Actualy the AFDES has found a planet named Agonus and we use it for the fushion rectors on our space ships. Its basicly fuel called Agonite fushion.
