Title: Cant get rid of my tree mod

i installed the Olympic Coast tree mod and i would like to get rid of it with out having to re install my game..I have followed instructions in the readme to get it unistalled but it will not go away. PLEASE HELP!! :'(

did you manually check your plugins? Try searching or looking for a folder with 'CPT'. One of them should say something like 'CPT_no(ex. mine is 7a)_tree controller'. If you find that, delete it.

Also, what about 'CPT_terrain essentials' thats where the tree file dependencies might be.

i think i already deleted those files..i have files named CPT_NO8_Tree ModelsPartOne.dat and CPT_No9_TreemodelsPartTwo.dat..in the CPT_TerrainEssentials folder..do you think i should get rid of those?

First, make a copy of the files somewhere else, then delete them. It might work

than why don't you try the basic plugin strategy...backup all plugins, then delete all plugins. It should be gone. THen add plugins little by little until you have all but the one that has the problem.
