I've not played SC4 in about a year, nor have I updated files.. sooo..its possible that this question has already been asked and answered. As I was browsing through a city tile, I came across this lot
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg212.imageshack.us%2Fimg212%2F4425%2Fnoquery.jpg&hash=690264dddae3d67f109099514d990aa866e23c2a)
It is a 6x6 residential, medium density.. I THINK it was from BLS, but I cannot be sure.
If anyone has info, let me know.. Thanks
Hope this is the right spot... feel free to move it if not.
That is an R$$$ 6x6 called Alex Avenue by BLS. It is part of the BLS Housing 6x6 (http://sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=1456) set and it was updated last year.
The query is in BSC Essentials and you also seem to be missing the building itself. I recommend bulldozing that and updating your files. There is a Cleanitol file included with the update to remove the original lots.
Sounds good.. I'll do that.. I expected it might be something like that, but I was unsure which element I should specifically dl for this item.. :)
Afraid the updating will be quite the task. I noted there are some 45 or so items that are new and another 40 or so to be updated if I am reading the LEX properly
Thanks
I have looked over the lot-specific update.
This of course isn't news to you, but in reviewing my actions: Looks like the BLS housing 6x6 I have and it shows "never" under updated, so I should already have the proper files there. Among the dependencies BSC Essentials seems to have been updated Oct of last year. .Looks I need that one. And BSC MEGA Props Misc Vol02 was updated too, so I need that plus BSC Textures Vol03 which shows never updated. Looks like just the Essentials and MegaProps Vol 2 will take care of me... Thanks again for pointing me in the correct direction.
I did the update.. of course a different lot grew in place of the old one, but I assume all is well :) .
I did uncover a problem though. The "remove list" contained the file name "BSC Essentials.dat" the same as the replacement. The old file name however was "BSC_Essentials.dat" so I ended up with both in the package. I assume only the larger, newer one should be kept. I note several other files have this issue which is addressed by putting both forms.. with and without the "_" so I guess this one needs to be doubled too
