I do not know if this should be posted in the NAM forums or here but anyways, is this the best you can make a diagonal with the elevated roads or am I overlooking a puzzle piece?

I would like something like this, only elevated.

At the moment, yes. There's never been an actual Orthogonal-to-Diagonal transition piece due to lack of models. That may get rectified soon, however. ;)

Thanks for the reply Alex. Traffic will still use the current elevated pieces like this though correct?
