Title: How to get own textures to lot editor?
Post by: Rady on September 03, 2009, 10:19:43 AM
Hi, I'm currently working on my first lot which will be a cobblestone texture that i desperatly need for my current city. I already found a texture (jpg) on the web that suits my needs and can be placed adjacent to itself without problems (that is breaks in the texture).

Now I encountered the first unsolvable problem :'(: how do I do to get this texture into a .bat file so that I can use it in the lot editor?

And furthermore: are there any thumb rules about the size (pixel) and color scheme (RGB, ...) a texture should have so it can be used for making lots?

Sorry but I'm just starting with it and there are SOOOOO many questions .... :-[

So these are the first two .. more to come

Start by downloading SC4Tool (http://kurier.simcityplaza.de/details.php?file=315) and reading Textures - Base and Overlays - and SC4Tool (http://sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=9.0). ;)
