I don't know if I've seen this posted anywhere.. I found a related discussion on the CAM but cannot find a post. Does anyone know of a reference to find, for all of the Maxis items
1. How do you get it
2. Pro's and Con's for it
3. Cap's etc info
Practical guidance/opinions on its use/avoidance

It tells all of that in the manual for SC4. (or at least the one that's in Deluxe)
It isn't in my manual (no rev #, but has 1474005 on the back cover) and I have Deluxe. There is a chart for what missions release what rewards, but nothing else. Most have a brief blurb in the rewards "mouseover", but little to nothing beyond that.. certainly nothing like I've requested.

Nope.. that list is the same as in the above references i mentioned.. still no WHAT DOES IT DO and to what extent, and WHY DO I /DON'T I want it.. :)

no i wouldn't want you to do that.. besides over the history of my being given info from the Prima guide it is wrong as often as it is correct.. and to the best of my knowledge it is never revised to correct errors.. they just leave it wrong.. What I was in hopes of is that over the passage of time folk have collected the info from the actual .dat files and found the CORRECT info PLUS there is always folk who have in-game experiences that say "hey this is great and worth the money.. " or "yuk this sucks" etc. There is a thread to this effect, ie. "what rewards do you use" or "what rewards are not worth the effort" etc.. just pulled together into a single spreadsheat kind of thing.. Also interpreting the numbers in the .dat files into more practical phraseology... for example the work ripplejet did in looking at the effect of police station stats on in-game play and how that relates to "crime in big lots" issues.. or should I place a single 3x3 plaza or would it be better to spread 5 or 6 1x1 plaza's around.. see what i mean?

I use the Prima as reference, it can be quicker than going online, but bottom line is, I turn to the SC4 community for the 'FACTS'! Good luck in your quest for knowledge ;)
