Although I've discovered a few ways to get around the first set of graphic problems, I've looked through the Vista and Win 7 threads but not found anything about the latest snag.
I've been working to establish a test region, both for scrutineering and personal experimentation. In this case, I wanted to build a RHW with a ditch between the two RHW-4 lanes. So far, so good...

...until I move something - anything. In this case, all I did was bump the top of the screen with the cursor to move the view up a bit. Using Page Up/Down or even mousing over the TPW makes it disappear, too, though. But it's still there! Blow it up and blue shards fly. When I exit and reopen the tile, the water shows up again, but only until I move something! Seems the water is the only thing that disappears, though - puzzling.

Computer specs:
Dell Studio XPS 435T
Intel Core i7-920 CPU (8 MB L3 cache 2.66 GHZ)
1024 MB nVidia GeForce GT 220 - driver dated Oct. 5.
6 GB Ram (upgradable to 24 GB, but I don't think RAM is the issue here)
Vista Home Premium (SP 1 included, SP2 installed later), 64-bit, with Win 7 upgrade on the way within two weeks
I've tried hardware rendering, software rendering, 16- and 32-bit color. Haven't turned off UAC yet - still haven't figured out how. &ops First group of settings all on high, cloud/fog turned off in second group. Also, this just occurred today. Worked fine yesterday - I was able to plop some rocks and foliage with no problem at all. I've read that Win 7 has an XP compatibility mode. That might work, but all I have now is XP Home 32-bit. I've run out of installs for Pro, but it's 32-bit, too.
Any ideas? Anybody? Please!
