Hello everybody. I started to make the BATs recently. Although it's very hard, I won't give it up. :D

This is my first project:
Renault factory
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2F0kpd2w.blu.livefilestore.com%2Fy1pPGfWmd2vdINYSLX9Jsf2fE_RL-o-FmXkp3igaQUYystTwfjL5Ig2t0WUmNKzUDAL7rIbm2Yy1DYVTAUQfGuIa1hJkStx1s4G%2FBBP001.jpg&hash=0fbc0e9d42acc3445a2f9ef4dc976152002a8f01)

Seguin Island is on the Seine River next to Boulogne-Billancourt and in the west of Paris, France. There was a Renault factory on the island.
The factory was built in 1920. In 1992, it was abandoned. Finally, it was destroyed in 2004.

It's appeared in my favourite anime Code Lyoko, this is one of the reasons. :D ;D

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fpublic.blu.livefilestore.com%2Fy1polOrRT-rmgZyTZERaEz84ZBlCHdKDmWREC3dJLSfSGZKp32WR1DoJH9OkuYMquBptGZSx5qkpOoSdTZtHMJijw%2FBBP002.jpg&hash=b08f73cd473e3ad751a672e81e5a6d4065b5d261)
This is a satellite picture, and we can see the factory hasn't been destroyed in that time.

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2F0kpd2w.blu.livefilestore.com%2Fy1pKe5QT7RnewO8CKpDW0o7KrgO7GkiAlCZWtKoUwO8jjJ2vSG51APx71KJ3VFErgau2HY5Exf2cGSn1kNrPdAEwA1q9BQNPV8P%2FBBP003.jpg&hash=dca5ac3e629301ed137a5fb98c8ec828c099ac6b)
And this is today's picture.

It's huge... :o :o :o

At first, I started from the west part.
This is the model in SketchUp. (Just a very simple model, without any window, texture and etc)

Very interesting.  Your model does look very good and the RL building has some great character!
I am all for more huge industrail buildings, especially one like this.  I will be following this one closely.
Good luck and please don't give up. ;)

Robin

I'm definitively looking forward to more and how this develops.

It seems like you are pretty talented for it, since (even though not textured yet) that model looks pretty good and accurate

Looking forward to more :),

This idea is awesome for two reasons : this building is iconic, some events (2nd WW, 1968 revolts) that are a part of History (with a big H) happen in this place, and the shape of the factory, on an island, is unique.

If you need some help on documentation, feel free to ask !!!

Keep going.

awesome first project Bobbi!
What a seemingly bizarre place to have chosen for such a building. A car factory of all things!?!
It's a very interestingly shaped building, and you are re-creating it well. Also appreciate the historical preservation aspect.
