Hello, hello everyone. I thought I just might bring my MD, Ankara, over here for you to all enjoy (I hope :P). There will be a seperate thread for Xiziz and my story (for those who know about it and want to see it here ;)).

A Quick Bit on the History of Ankara
----------------------------------
The Republic of Ankara is a Eurasian country that stretches the central Anatolian Peninsula. It borders Turkey and Greece to the west and Belka to the east. On the southern border is Syria, Cyprus and the Mediterranean Sea. To the north is the Black Sea. The country as a whole lies between the Democracies of Europe and the countries of the Middle East putting it in a geo-strategic position. The Republic of Ankara was formed in 1921 from the remains of the Ottoman Empire after World War I and the Turkish War of Independence. The people of Ankara are descendants of the Empire of Persia from over 2400 years ago and that legacy continues today. The growth of Ankara was stagnant during the inter war years (1918-1939). In 1941 Germany and Italy invaded Ankara's neighbor, Turkey. Later that year the infamous 10th Panzer Division led an attack on the lowlands forming up Ankara's eastern border. The mountainous terrain made progress slow and Germany's attention turned elsewhere. After the war Ankara was one of few European countries left relatively untouched and not in debt. Loans provided to recovering countries in Europe boosted the economy starting the "Era of Growth," (1947-1953). In 1946 Ankara joined the UN and in 1953 it joined NATO forming up the southern flank. In 1964 vast amounts of resources were discovered in the Anatolia Mountains. The resources provided a jump start to the economy which lasted until oil was discovered in the Black Sea in 1976. In 1973 Ankara helped its Israeli allies and exerted pressure on the Syrians. Modern day Ankara continues to grow in all sectors. The economy is becoming fewer dependants on natural resources and oil and is switching over to banking and commercial services. Ankara proved to be a vital support base during the war in the Balkans in 1998-1999 for NATO. Economic power is becoming less centralized in Ankara as the government promotes expansion to other cities of the country. Today Ankara remains a regional power and an influential world competitor.

Our first update will be of the City of Konya. Just a small side note but I've destroyed the pics your about to see and have restarted in a much cooler way ;).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Today we come to the motor city of Ankara, Konya. Konya is a large city of 2.5 million people located south of Ankara and about 150 km inland from the ocean. Many industries are based there such as the one of two main plants for Union Aircraft (you'll see that later). Marque Motor Company also has a plant outside the city. The downtown is relitivly small with only 4 high rises. It is intersting though because right across the street from the high rises are row homes that extend for miles in all directions. The train station has commuter trains and Pendolino service's to Ankara, Antalya, and Adana.

Here is some of the famous Konya rowhomes. The large highrise you see in the image is the regional HQ for MPC, or Mediterranean Produce Company based in the Nation of Barbary Coast. MPC owns many farms in central Ankara from which the food is shipped all over the region.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi38.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fe130%2Fyoman3%2FKonyaCornerbuilding.jpg&hash=f61c2c3a8cba8f146940121fbf1ed3045363fa0c)
Here is Develi Street which is famous for the resturants on either side. Just visible behind the Ankara International Corperation or AIC building is Kaman Plaza.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi38.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fe130%2Fyoman3%2FKamanPlaza.jpg&hash=6829ea88c00a218ee54579e5422ef6c768593efc)
Here is a frontal view of Kaman plaza. Thousands of people travel through the plaza each day going to and from work. It is also a popular meeting place located in close proximity to almost everything interesting in Konya.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi38.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fe130%2Fyoman3%2FApartments.jpg&hash=ce70c4022d39890e4b6f96aedabf1f4f981ed635)
This is the Alaca Apartment building, one of 3 owned by Oltu Real Estate. Many of the residents take afternoon strolls on the green area located in front of the tower. Visable from the building is the train station, the river and on especially clear days, the Anatolia Mountains. This is also my personal favorite picture.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi38.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fe130%2Fyoman3%2FDusk.jpg&hash=9274eeae3af940814e6906e703758de388a2dbeb)
And the final image, more of those famous Konya rowhomes along the riverside and the base of the MPC building.

I hope you enjoyed that. I realize that this wasnt a very well thought out post and will try to make it nicer as time goes on.
Nice pictures there Yoman! il read it through tomorrow... my eyes dont want more reading today XD
great to see ankara agian after all those months yoman keep up the great work and pop by gotham somtime lol
Great start you have here, Yoman! I'll be looking forward to seeing more!
i love these story based MD's, and you've gone out of your way [nice history]. thank you. your pictures a wonderful, especially the rowhouses at sunset. can't wait to see more
hey vilbe
i dont mean to bribe and im srry for posting this here but you should see my cj its a story cj too and its quite a good one
- MOD EDIT: Whoa, Derek- It's one thing to slip in a plug for your own MD in passing when you comment on someone else's, but this crosses the line. I'm leaving it here, so folks will know what I'm referring to, but your MD really needs to stand on its own feet...
...unless you're prepared to buy billboard space in a few regions- and then those are really hard to read.
Hope the policy is clear here. Feel free, anybody, to PM me if you have any questions. -DE
Derek, it's generally considered a big no-no to advertise your CJ in someone else's city journal. Just a heads-up. ;)
Anyways, Owen, nice to see you've brought your CJ over here. It looks lovely. ;D I want to see more, though.
Oh yay! The exodus continues! I'm so happy to see you here too Owen!
And WELCOME to SC4D's MD land! &apls &apls
great start and wonderful pictures!
great start, Yoman!!! those highrise bldgs dwarf everything else. wow. lol. would love to see how your MD unfolds! the background text is impressive! see you around
srry all and sorry owen wont happen agian
QuoteI realize that this wasnt a very well thought out post...
Well, Owen, I'm glad you picked that up. I missed it all together. I thought that the post was marvelously detailed and had a collection of really great pics. Hmmm- one of us must be wrong.
What a great thing to gave Ankara over here. I've long been a closet admirer- now it's real easy to keep up, and comment from time to time as well.
Good luck!
David
I love this journal. And now I will have the opportunity to comment on it on a regular basis. Thank you!
Just poping in to say that I am not dead, nor is this CJ, its just gotten completely revamped, new region, slightly new style, new plugins. Expect a full update as soon as I have some time to put a good one together (I have all the images I need). But until then here are two teasers.

Oh, I have five minutes for personal replies also.....I hope
Xiziz - Well damn your eyes :P
thundercrack83 - Thank ye!
vilbe - I'm really glad you liked that history, took me awhile, theres even more at the SCJU Wiki of Ankara, I'll find time to post a link one of these days :P
Shadow Assassin - Well you and that Cactus Nazi of yours will see some more soon I hope :P
Heinz - I too love the effect of the massive structures next to the small little rowhomes :D Thanks for the comment.
dedgren - If I had really put some time into that post (I rushed it) it could've been much better :D
emilin - I love your MD also :D So its nice to hear that you like this one.
Fantastic new pictures! Great update!
Two awesome pictures ( like the first set , but in a larger size : the size that they deserve , at least the one I prefer ;) ) , Yoman , giving me the needing to see more .
Great use of BATs and street Mod for a very convincing and beautiful result : &apls
It's very beautiful ...
I love the mix style, Spanish, Dutch, Italian... It's excellently well done
Bravo &apls
Glad to see you're back, Yoman! That picture looks great, and I'll be looking forward to seeing future updates.
Looking good! Hoping to see more soon! I like the detail you put in, every bench, car and tree adds to the whole city atmosphere!
%BUd% %BUd% %BUd%
Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait, can't wait! Need more Ankara pictures. The teasers are wonderful. &apls
Here is that update I promised, first some personal replies though.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Emilin - the fact that I have to reply to your new comment while posting the update totally screwed up my color scheme, hence why your reply is first :P glad you like the area though :D
BAT - Not much of an update, but thank you!
Badsim - that comment is extremely flattering coming from a city builder such as yourself :D
Snaper - Its suppose to be a nice Turkish style, but with the avalibility of Turkish BATs thats impossible so I've created this.
Thundercrack83 - Thank your for that welcome back, its been awhile since I last updated a CJ and feels good :D
Muzz - The street tree and sidewalk mod I use enhance it alot I believe, I don't know where I would be without those trees

Today we are moving back to the capital city and visiting several well known districts including Bykeli Tepel, Yeillik Yol, and the Elçilik District. Most of these districts contain brightly colored and beautiful row homes of early 1900s vintage. Recently traffic has been getting worse in the center of Ankara and a third subway line was added with three more either in the planning stages or under construction. To supplement the subway until it is completed several temporary bus routes operate in the area as well. The districts we shall visit contain approximately 250.000 residents including some of the most prestigious people in the city.
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
We begin in the Bykeli Tepel area of the city. Bykeli Tepel translates to Ambassador Hill in english. It is named this because many of the ambassadors who represent their respective embassies have residences here. Most full size row homes in the area go for about 1.000.000 Unio, or around 1.800.000 American dollars. Nearby districts include Yeillik Yol which is sometimes referred to as part of the Bykeli Tepel area, and the Elçilik District, where many embassies are located.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi38.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fe130%2Fyoman3%2FLoomingTower.jpg&hash=b81af2a7e5899ad243a86ecd84da11d3eec84f54)
In the above picture we can view two distinct landmarks of the Bykeli Tepel area, the Benzin & Zeytinyaðý Tower, home to the Ankara Oil Company, and the orange roofed row homes of the area.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi38.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fe130%2Fyoman3%2FYeillikYolAnkaraOilCo.jpg&hash=07b04207ebdbb217820bf8428f1051ae1d85797e)
In this picture the Benzin & Zeytinyaðý Tower's base and Sinek Street, which is a major thoroughfare in the area and intersects with the Yeillik Yol in the upper part of the picture. On the other angle of the Benzin & Zeytinyaðý Tower's base is Zafer avenue, which continues on all the way until the Grand National Assembly to the South.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi38.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fe130%2Fyoman3%2FBykeliTepeII.jpg&hash=5a4549850ed7a41d3b6493d903528f6311a11e8a)

In the above three pictures we can view the inner areas of the Bykeli Tepel area, containing the enormously expensive row homes. Some of the ambassadors that call the area home include the ambassadors to Calderwood, Krim, New Burgundy, French Fallenhain, and Cordria.
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
We will now move onto the Yeillik Yol area. This area is quite a thin one that occupies the two blocks on either side of the district's name sake, the Yeillik Yol. A thoroughfare dominated for its incredible trees and green median. On state visits to Ankara a drive down the historic street is mandatory. On National Day the street is closed down and handed over to paraders for celebrations.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi38.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fe130%2Fyoman3%2FYeillikYolIII.jpg&hash=cef4c9a41a8b6d5703be6ebdfe5766dcd3dbd3b6)

Above are two views of the Yeillik Yol. The name Yeillik Yol translates to "Beautiful Way" in english.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi38.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fe130%2Fyoman3%2FKaraFoneHQII.jpg&hash=d78d426b85653450d768e8b1efba8cb5e3e675d9)
In the above picture it is easy to identify the headquarters of KaraFone. An Ankara based cellular phone company that provides service in several countries. Also visible is this intersection between the Yeillik Yol and Sinek Street.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi38.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fe130%2Fyoman3%2FKaraFoneHQI.jpg&hash=3aafd5cff9552f85e4b28a3ad4d28d634c712323)
We have another view of the KaraFone HQ here as well as a view of Büyük Park, the main park of the city much like Central Park of New York City, and modeled after that park.
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
That took forever :P I hope you liked this new update, expect the Elçilik District in the next update, which I hope will be either tomorrow or the day after.
Great update comrade!
i really love those narrow streets and the climate of buildings really makes it feel like turkey(okay, so ive never been there, but it feels like turkey anyway!)
Great job, cant wait to see me! and it supprises me that i only saw two pictures before you posted the update, usually i get to see everything before!
Besides the fact that I feel the blue tower is overwhelming, a very good update. Nice greenways, good job of sticking it out with streets instead of upgrading to roads.
I got just what I wanted. ;D
It's a very good update. I especially like the place with two streets intersected by a park/greenbelt. It looks extremly realistic. I think that there might be a slight overuse of one of the houses (the orange-brownish pointy w2w building) but that is really just on a side note.
Fantastic update! Nice park and great residential area!
It's wonderful
You are the first nobody whom I see who zone like me $%Grinno$% ... Attention, I do not say that you copied from me... But considering I never saw that on another MD, that made odd ;D
Cheer &apls
YAY!
Ankara is back :D
Good to see where our oil comes from "$Deal"$
Yoman,
I love the detail in your city - the narrow streets, the small strips of park and everyone's back gardens. It makes it feel like the city is alive. I will be coming back to visit more often.
Stewart
Beautiful update, my friend! I'm so glad you're back! I love the big blocks of housing and the bustling traffic. Absolutely fantastic! I'll be looking forward to more!
amazing update yoman! the captions are great ;) lol
Great job Yoman &apls &apls
Fantastic, it has such a unique feel! The Caladian ambassador's ridiculously expensive apartemnt was paid for by the taxpay- errr, his own mortgage........
PS When you get a second come on MSN, I have news (of the good kind) regarding a certain Helicopter Carrier.
Stunning pictures.
YOurs city blocks are awesome, and quite realistic ! the big skycraper is a nice addition to the district ! You've made a ciy with its own feeling ! Can't wait for the next update !
wow really nice Owen! &apls Those buildings are my fave. Hail Ankara! :satisfied:
Mmm, looks good. :P
Even though I don't like those skyscrapers you got there, it still is quite realistic - a lot like many cities around the world. :P
Looking nice, Owen... (god that's weird)
Love those custom bats, so colourful!
It is time for another update! But first I realized that I left this picture out of the last one for some odd reason :P
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi38.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fe130%2Fyoman3%2FKaraFoneAnkaraOilCo.jpg&hash=70affdf8965dcc164a85d610353803ec05c3ce50)
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Xiziz - You only saw two pics :P And I can just imagine you in turkey...might get arrested for drunkardness :P
LP - Bah, the overwhelmingness of the tower is the best part.
emilin - that house is most used in this district, it thins out later on but I really like that BAT, glad I satisfied you though :D
bat - Thank you!
Snaper - I've been zoning like this for awhile now...but that is quite cool to see someone else who zones like me, you do it quite well also!
aNdi - Black gold ;)
stewart_garden - Your always welcome to come back and I'm glad you liked the detail, because thats what I strive for.
thundercrack83 - Big blocks of housing? Bah, the slummy apartments are in future updates :P
sEAhAwk fAn121 - They better bee $%#Ninj2 :P
Sól - Thank you
Muzz - Don't worry, he didn't have to pay extra for the wiretaps :P
Russell - Thank you.
nova vesfalo - Thats a real compliment, because I'm glad I've created a new feeling just as you have`
infinitum19 - yeah, get down and hail :P
Shadow Assassin - so when are slann and I getting the seaport lots?
Owen - Your right this is quite weird :P Thanks anyhow!

Today we shall be exploring the Elçilik District. This translates to Embassy District in english due to the fact that this is where most of the embassies from other nations are. Cutting right through the center of the district is the Mavi Yol, or Blue Way, a stone sided canal the forms the jewel of the area. Also located in this area is the Ankara Republican Hotel for the City of Ankara, a large 30 story structure that dominates the district.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi38.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fe130%2Fyoman3%2FNivramelEmbassy-1.jpg&hash=4e79f195968f39057cc3917568d2cf54794ab18e)
In this first image there are two major buildings that can be viewed, in the center of the picture is the Nivramel Embassy, and on the bottom of the picture is the Ministry of the Interior, responsible for internal security.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi38.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fe130%2Fyoman3%2FMinistryofJustice-1.jpg&hash=a6eee90da1b6117f570ad5a5617ee0ee780d4a87)
In this next picture which is located just southeast of the first picture, one can see the Ministry of Justice, responsible for running Ankara's courts.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi38.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fe130%2Fyoman3%2FEmbassyCanal.jpg&hash=54806fc4fa00fe0d3aa8b43ebd8120e669b70e3d)
In this image we have a very good view of the Mavi Yol, along the southern bank (top of the image) we can see Stratum Central Ankara, a chain of stores operated by this Kinata based company. On the northern bank there are just some more extremely expensive rowhomes, and if one looks in the extreme bottom right, one can see the French Fallenhain Embassy.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi38.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fe130%2Fyoman3%2FCanalIntersection.jpg&hash=095a24f1f6f354ee68a65f73438a6d4db39542c0)
This is perhaps my favorite picture, showing the intersection along the Mavi Yol, on the left is the front facade of the Ankara Republican Hotel, and on the right is the end of the Stratum Central Ankara complex. As one can see traffic is quite bad in the area, A light rail line was planned for the area but was scrapped because it would've disrupted traffic, a new subway extension is currently being examined however.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi38.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fe130%2Fyoman3%2FBackofCanalShopsCalderwoodEmbassy.jpg&hash=1226884fd7264ebd8d760505401118e56fa52753)
In this picture we can see the other end of the Stratum Central Ankara complex as well as the Calderwood embassy in the extreme lower left. The Ministry of Justice is also visible in the extreme lower right.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi38.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fe130%2Fyoman3%2FWesternEmbassy.jpg&hash=ea756624d1159e074670401aa5b22a51cbfb471f)
Some of these row homes now go for over 1.500.000 Union, or 2.400.000 American Dollars, better save up :P
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi38.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fe130%2Fyoman3%2FNorthernEmbassy.jpg&hash=b93fd1af5c71326ed2d7adba66764995226cbe9a)
A common view of Elçilik District row homes on the eastern fridge of the area. A 20 story apartment building (visible top left) was recently built in the extreme eastern areas of the Elçilik District, some criticized it at first but since its completion in 2005 it has become part of the landscape.
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi38.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fe130%2Fyoman3%2FMinistryofFinnanceII.jpg&hash=6705e6a0356c0eef075f0ca3938076de1a0110c6)

On the extreme western frindge of the district is the Ministry of Finance, a building completed in 1918 as a palace, it still stands today as a testament to Ankara being one of the most famous landmarks of the city.
___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Thats all for now folks :P
The newer buildings seem to fit a lot better than they did in the previous update.
However... it continues to un-impress me being the mediocre pile of horse manure it is.
:P
These new pictures are looking great! Wonderful work!
Another great update, Yoman! I love the buildings you chose to serve as your government structures, especially the Ministry of Finance building. And I love the canal snaking through the city, too! I'll be looking forward to the next update!
Love that diagonal palace! It's pretty unique...
Nice job all up -- it's still lookin' great!! &apls $%Grinno$% ()stsfd() :satisfied:
great stuff :D
though I´ve already seen some of the pics ^^
Ankara!!!
Awesome MD, I wish I had come here before. What an amazing start, I love your pics. They are filled with so much life. The canal looks great the way you have it laid out.
&apls
Robin
I thought firstly that everything to say has been already said : great ! So I have had just to let me go to my favorite pleasures : contemplation ...
...and decortication . $%Grinno$%
Finally , everything hasn't been said ... Your choice to use a lot of modded streets is really clever ; the amount of details and life , the traffic congestions due to them ... traffic congestion , you know , this thing to avoid in SC4 ...and everywhere in real cities . ::)
Well , all and each of these pictures are wonderful .
&apls &apls &apls
It's very nice, I loveyour city and the environment which reigns there
Cheer Yoman &apls
Just stopping in once again to say I am not dead! Rather I've been playing STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl lately, and today, just playing with my new iPhone :P
But heres a teaser of the Financial District
PICTURE DELETED DUE TO THE BAD QUALITY OF IT
Edit: just messing around with the iPhone :P
Owen- Can't wait to see your work in 3RR collaboration. The new airport stuff is moving right along now. Your pics, for someone as distracted by other fun as you sound, are just the right thing to wind up the day with. Really easy on the eyes.
Take care with that iToy- tell me when they port SC4 onto it.
David
Wonderful preview &apls And good work this the LE
Bon jeu avec ton iPhone ;D
That's a great preview! Looking forward to that!
Awesome teaser pic. I'm very interested in seeing the rest of that building.

The next planned update was suppose to be on the financial district of Ankara, but I got bored of that city for now and moved the north coast of my map to build resorts, so guess what today's update is about, resorts on the north coast!

A Brief History on the North Coast
The North Coast of Ankara around the port city of Sinop is said to possess natural beauty that rivals the southern coast. Recently the Black Sea coast along the area has seen the growth of many resorts and summer towns for those city dwellers seeking to escape for the summer. People coming to the North Coast's beaches and resorts most often travel through Sinop International Airport, but recently the new high speed rail connection to Sinop has drawn more people via rail. The E12 motorway along the North Coast provides access to many of the small towns and resorts that have popped up in the last few years, running parallel to the E12 is the North Coast mainline which was just recently upgraded for electric operation. During the winter the North Coast resorts become ghost towns for the most part besides the few ski resorts located in the mountains, people wait in Sinop for the coming summer season which brings over 1 million tourists through the area. Attractions include the beaches, mountain biking / hiking, fishing, diving, and recently touring the Greek and ottoman ruins that dot the area.

Here we see the summer resort town of Gençlik Meşgul. At the bottom of the picture is the main train station of the town on the North Coast Mainline, served by trains from Sinop Station, most occupants of the town and the near by resorts arrive by the train or the nearby E12 motorway.

Another view of the train station and surrounding buildings. Most of the apartments in this picture are the second houses of city dewellers who come to their second home to escape for a vacation along the Coast.

These condos with an Ocean view can go for up to one million Unio for their great views and close location to beach access as well as the quality of the condo itself. Throughout the year the owners of these condos rent them out to people on business in the area as hotels or to other vacationers.(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi38.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fe130%2Fyoman3%2FEastSideVinyard.jpg&hash=f416242fdbec293c18e26804af64a065feabd77f)
The North Coast is also home to a large number of wine vineyards, producing red wines such as Öküzgözü. Traditional methods are used to power the vineyards such as windmills. The wine produced is mostly sold domestically within Ankara but recently it has been exported in larger quantities to Europe and America.

The main attraction in the area is of course a day at the beach. The beaches in the area are calm almost year round and are roughly 23 C or 73 F, a comfortable temperature for swimming. Just off the coast are many fishing grounds for a day of fishing. One major drawback however is the lack of lifeguards on most beaches, and only a few at the major beaches, this may have been the cause of a number of drowning deaths last summer.

Throughout the area besides the small resort towns and summer condos are a number of high rise hotels. This one in particular is owned by Ankara Republican Hotels. Set into the hillside it provides goregeous views of the Black Sea coast and the surrounding mountains and hills. The hotel provides several activities and trolleys to the privately owned beach. Directly below the hotel are farm fields that produce the vegetables used in the hotel's kitchens.

Hello Yoman,
The Nation of Ankara looks very good. I like the combination of houses that you use to give that east mediteranean feeling to them. I have enjoyed also reading the history and other texts of your updates.
Sweet little windmill by the way. :)
I look forward to see more of your nation.
Strechnitz.
Very beautiful, I like
