Title: How do you reorient a plane's coordinates?

I've got a simple penthouse for hvac whose walls angle in at 15% --essentially a pyramid with a square base whose top has been sliced off.

I made the walls out of angled planes which overlapped, then I trimmed the leftover corners by boolean subtraction using angled boxes--(my mistake, I should have extruded splines, but the idea of figuring out what trapezoidal shape they needed to be to get them them to join when angled was too much trig for me to contemplate  ???). But now when I apply my texture, which represents vertically ribbed metal, the grooves are skewed at the 15 degree angle that the final wall planes inherited when I subtracted the angled boxes.

To put it another way, I've got a wall that is orthogonally correct, but the coordinates believe it is angled on the x/y plane by 15%, and the texture is skewed accordingly. A picture would help, so:

I played around with all the UVW map alignments, but the best I could do is to get the ribs running vertically, which makes the wall look flat, not sloping.

This took a decent while to create so I'm loathe to toss it out and start again, so my question is, how can you reset the coordinates of a plane (or any element) to get it back on regular alignment so the texture renders correctly?

I have no idea if that is possible, but you could try to correct the angle in your texture.

Thanks kwakalaar, I've been thinking the same, but thought there might be a simpler fix.  Off to photoshop...

Edit: Wasn't so bad in the end--a simple skew and crop and it looks good now.
