Title: changing the plugin destination

hi, as in title

as standard the simcity's plugin folder is  C:\Users\Erwin\Documents\SimCity 4\
but i want it to be in the same folder and drive( the D drive) as simcity is: how can i do that?

There's another folder called "Plugins" in the folder where you've installed SC4. You can move your plugins in there if you want :)

Couple things that I ran into to keep in mind when moving the plugins folder:

Make sure that the directory has a "\" at the end of it in your shortcut, otherwise it won't recognize it.
i.e. -UserDir:D:\Simcity\Macedonia\

It will create an HTTPCache, Plugins, and Regions directory as well as a Simcity4.cfg file.

Some programs, such as the SC4Datpacker 2008, seem to have hardcoded your Simcity 4 plugins directory when it searches for plugins. So you'll need to move them, pack them, then move them back to your directory. I think PIM-X works the same way, but i'm not 100% positive on that.
