Well as the title says, rendering of my latest BAT went a little..well it wasn't pretty:

I tried refitting the LODs, i merged with a new scene, I even tried creating a different desc file and making it a prop, nothing, nada, it has happened for both times i rendered it. What is the problem? Please help!

Frankie, I've had that happen a million times to me as well. It actually prevented me from releasing a few sign BATs I did awhile ago. It's some sort of texturing glitch as far as I know, and at least for me, it only happens at certain zooms. I've caught it in the Lot Editor as well, so I think it occurs somewhere between exporting the BAT and using the Plug-in Manager. Somehow, the texture of the model is ending up with an IID that is the same as one used by a Maxis building. I'd be curious to know how to fix this problem as well.

You need the latest Maxis PATCH for the BAT ... it is a IID clash that was fixed long ago.
Thanks, Colyn! It turns out I had downloaded that file and spaced out and forgot to install it. :D Seems to work a lot better now.
