I downloaded the Hole digging lots so I could build a sunken highway, but I can't figure out how to use them. In the readme it says to place the lots then lay your road over it, but it doesn't work. Then I bulldoze the lots but the sunken ground isn't placed. What am I doing wrong? &mmm
Thanks in advance
Make sure that the terrain is high enough. Then run the road over and the lot should automatically dig. I use smoncrie's Hole Digging Lots, so I don't know if the NHP ones work the same. Hope this helps

The most important thing is to make sure that the terrain is high enough to be able to dig the hole
These pics hopefully will help :D
For this example I am using the 10mtr digging lot

Place the hole digging lot in the position you require
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi201.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Faa148%2Ftheteacat%2Fhole2.jpg&hash=d72bc1535f8f342bf9655d04f2889096fd65effa)
Drag the road through the lot
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi201.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Faa148%2Ftheteacat%2Fhole3.jpg&hash=493c4a147d2b7cf75522e15f25957db82e2b083a)
You can see here the terrain has been lowered
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi201.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Faa148%2Ftheteacat%2Fhole4.jpg&hash=152f4f49341c3b421066e01b1c60ee820c744c46)
Destroy the lot and flatten using road tiles

Hope this was of some help to you;)

In fact I am using simoncrie's lots. Now that you both had mentioned it, I'm sure that the terrain was too low. Thanks for replying
Thanks for the pics TeaCat, they were really helpful. I'm going to download the digging lots you have and give those a try.
