Hello.

Passenger trains don't stop at the passenger train stations. This is what I really don't like in SC4. Passenger trains just pass throught the station without any stopping.
When I compare it with Monorail or Elevated rail it is different. Monorail trains and elevated trains stop at every station. Why?
I would like to ask if it is possible to fix it somehow? Is it possible to create new stop points for passenger train stations? Many passenger stations are already transit enabled lots with tracks going throught the station. It would be nice to see for example passenger train stopping at the station and monorail/HSR passing by without stopping, which is more realistic situaton.

Just to clarify, every lot MUST have a Building, so in a scenario like this I'm guessing what was actually missing was the Model, which is linked from the Buildings Exemplar. If the later did not exist, no way could you open the Lot in LE.

A Lot (in game) consists of at least a Buildings Exemplar (Properties of item) and LotConfigurations Exemplar (Layout of Props/Texture etc).

It's important to understand the differences between the files that reference models and models themselves, which are ultimately just models and can be used for any purpose if the right Exemplar exists.

Frankly I suspect you are on your own, ultimately most of the great utilities for SC4 were made by folks who have long since moved on. You could try to send a polite PM to the creator, you might get lucky and it get's noticed/answered.

Do also bear in mind, it's one thing for someone to willingly release their source code, but quite another to have it 'hacked' using some utility. It is possible that process is not giving the 100% correct source code or that other files/code/APIs are necessary to utilise (compile) it.

Honestly, editing someone else's code seems like it would be simple, but it never is, only the person who wrote it really knows what's going on. Reverse engineering like this is a ton of work and honestly unless an App was broken, I'm not sure I'd bother, unless that's your idea of fun?

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to tell you not to do it, but for example Terraformer does what it says on the tin, I can't think of some obvious missing feature/functionality off the top of my head that would add anything. Just considering the time/effort to unravel and understand the code, you should ask yourself if it's really worth it, compared to your intended goals from forking the code.

You not only accidentally deleted it, but then removed it from the Recycle Bin too (I'd double-check)? I mean there is careless and careless, did you not have a backup somewhere? For most people this scenario is unthinkable, it's worth taking a moment of your time to ensure nothing like this is possible. Due to the work that goes into making Plugins suites and Regions, you absolutely want to be able to recover from any brain fart, hardware faults or alien invasion. I think I would walk away from the game/modding at this point if I suffered complete data loss, I don't have it in me to do this again.

As for asking what are the best props, I hate these questions, it's a matter of taste and if you want a list of everything, go through the exchange. It's impossible to list what YOU will want/need, the question is too expansive to give a proper answer.

Literally the very last problem/fix was identical to yours. So I suspect perhaps you don't have the right file, use the one in the link and you should be fine. Review the posts just above yours all the info is there.

Quite by accident I deleted my Plugins folder today :(

I think i had just about everything installed.

SO now the question is, is what do you consider the best Mega Props, Bat Props, and other peoples lots should one load to be able to be able to play a decent game

How does one resolve a problem like this.

CSX GA Nursery - Pink Bradford Pear Tree is apparently a building is missing from the Lot

Now I went into the LotEditor and sure enough in the middle of the lot there is a square. When you click on the building Tab you get the option to either replace the builing or replace the family.

How does one go about fixing things like this.

Hello, I'm facing same error. Also with SC4DataPacker. Any ideas what can try next? I did every possible manipulations with mentioned dlls, their versions x64, x86, Reinstalled all  the C++ Redistributionals. But app dint't launch. no error, or logs, nothing. I check Event Viewer it stated, that wxWidgets "wxbase28uh_vc.dll" is a failing module, I downloaded and replaced this dll. And after that, application started to throw eror and log file with:
