Welcome To The Summerset Islands! Untamed land and virgin forests have been untouched by humans for centuries; but all of that is about to change...

Located West of the Queen Charlotte Islands B.C. Canada never having any permanent inhabitants for its small size and limited natural resources thawing on the north side of the islands has unlocked a treasure trove of precious metals. The race for wealth has begun! All that remains is a small abandoned military airstrip used during second world war and cold war.

The Land Awaits:

But look it appears the islands newest visitors have arrived:

Only time will tell what is in store!

I, like Geoff, am curious about what business the ship could possibly have. A great start you've given us!

Pt. II Making a Beach Head

The HMS Vandy and HMS Evergreen landed here 6 weeks ago and their cargo has been put to use putting up company subsidized housing, the start of the railway line, and industry to refine and process the island's raw materials...

The HMS Evergreen unloading her cargo at the newly built dock warehouses:

The Summerset islands residing directly over a pacific hotspot are an excellent source for geothermal power, a natural choice to power the company factories. Also Dr. Mundo's company clinic is open and running to serve all employees medical needs:

The trash problem has been solved! The Excess of rubbish building up in port no longer needs to be shipped back to the mainland it is simply floated off into the ocean!

Soon the island's natural resources will be on rail back to port and off to the mainland! When people realize the riches to be found here in this untamed land it will never be the same again!

All that trash being tossed into the ocean is going to backfire somehow. We'll leave it for the next generation to solve. :P

nedalezz

There is something so wrong about that trash just drifting off into the ocean, lol. Nonetheless, a great little update, the first shot with the ship looks very nice.

RickD

:D I never thought about placing the garbage chute that way. Nice update.

Clever use of the garbage chute.  Gonna be a serious mess in the future though!  Very nice job on your city design so far, great looking area.

I like the ruthless brutality with which these people are colonizing and readying themselves to pillage the resources from the island. That could make for an interesting MD actually   ;)

I'm looking forward to more.

Great use of PEG's stuff! I like how the GeoThermal Plant dominates the small workers homes ;D
