So here we go, the draw for the first 48 games of the world cup. As you can see there is no break in the program so at this stage it looks like we'll split the selection process into 4 rounds of roughly 12 games each. This will be a standard tipping competition. Points if you pick a winner, points if you pick a draw and nothing if you pick the loser. There will be additional options when it comes to penalty shootouts etc. These will all be explained a little bit later when the official rules are released.

At this early stage we are not asking for your selections, but you now have the draw so if you wish to do some form research, go for it. I know it won't do me any good  :D

Anyway, we'll get the updates coming a bit more regularily going forward. And don't forget to drop into the main discussion thread to let us know who you are backing in the Cup.
