a small question about scaling

hi!

well i see that one of my models get batsquased abit (in my opinion)
so i asked what to do about it
people suggested to scale the model vertically
but i dont understand how you do this? if i scale it rescales the who model makinge everything alot bigger
or is this the right thing? because then im really confused ()what()
can someone clarify this for me?

Click and hold the Scale button.  You should see three choices.  Select the bottom one (Squash).  Now, select your whole model, group it, and enter a Z number above 100% to upscale the model.
