Is it possible to make tunnels or bridges go from city to city?

You can make a little tiny island to make a "fake" city-to-city bridge but there isn't much of a little workaround to make a city-to-city tunnel.

Subway is the only tunnel connection you get from city to city... So if you are using the big dig tunnel pieces you can do that in theory to get a tunnel connection...

Would it work though? Would Sims actually be able to use it travel from city to city?

Hey MaryBeth in theroy it should work as using the BigDig tunnel pieces does allow for traffic to flow threw, I guess the only way to test it is just try it out... I will see if I can get it to happen, that is get commuter traffic to go both ways....  I will post what I find out here..

Use the taxi station to bring about cars! Use the subway-tunnel then a Taxi Stand!

When I used this, costumers went up by 1000% and so did the demand for commercial! (and it will seem that cars come out of the subway-tunnel!)

I use the NDEX Underground Motorways, which transition One Way Roads to Subway.  Then run the subway to the neighboring City.
