The SC4 Devotion Forums are no longer active, but remain online in an archived, read-only "museum" state.  It is not possible for regular members to post or use the private messaging system, and no technical support will be provided for any issues pertaining to the forums in their current state.  Attachments (those that still work) are accessible without login.

The LEX has been replaced with SC4Evermore (SC4E), and SC4E maintains an active Discord server.  For traditional forums, we recommend Simtropolis.

hey this site is awesome, it inspired me to play sc4 again, im not a computer savy person, ive figured out how to download,and install,but what iwant to know is when i downloade sc4datpacker and ran it ,i see the compressed folder full off great things ,but what about the rest of the stuff not in the compressed folder? can i delete it , and what about the read me's,the pictures just tryin to get rid of some stuff. and one more thing ,since using dat packer when i start sc4 it doesnt want to load due to something about g;driver direct x not responding, when it asks if i want to close nonresponding program i choose no and it triggers it to start,anybody have clue what thats about
