Hey ya'll, thanks for having this great forum, when i get time i'll start looking at the mods.  They seem impressive. I've got a region going that i work on and off for the past couple years.  I like it, I only have a city of 250k, but i have plenty of room to expand and am trying to optimize the transit systems.  I find it annoying when whole blocks of residents will not even consider jobs at an area that is closer. It makes me realize how the algorithms are set up, and kinda takes the fun out of it.

One of my main strategies is to make only one exit for a residential block, this forces them to use the transit paths I choose.  Also I don't like putting bus stations everywhere; then everyone just works everywhere and it gets messy.

Anyways, so I'm trying to get better performance with scrolling through my city.  I want to put hardware rendering on, but when i turn it on, and restart sc4 rh... there are no graphics at all, no ea logo, no intro, nada.
Now I assume it's because my graphics card is not supported, because it is a GeForce 2 MX/MX 400.  The driver is up to date (by the year 2000 standards!).  yeah...  I don't think my other stats are important, AMD 950mhz, AOpen AK73 Pro.  Anyways if you have any input thats not 'buy a new system' then thanks. If not, i'll just keep trucking.
