I've been trying to figure out for the past couple months how I am supposed to configure my launch options so that I run in windowed mode. Not only that but recently I've come across a picture in the coop on reddit that show a further out view in region mode. I'm not sure why I have none of this and its kind of frustrating. Either way I have the game on steam and my current launch options are...


-w -CustomResolution:enabled -r1920x1080x32 -introff -CPUCount:1 -UserDir:"C:\Users\Justin\Documents\SugarSync Shared Folders\Ross Jones\Reddit SC4 Coop v2\SummerCoop'

Any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated. I guess i should say that my monitor resolution is 1600x900. Also if your in the coop I realized last night that I have been using the wrong in game folder.

Also what is that coop thing? i thought SC4 wasn't working on coop.

I believe the -w switch needs to be after the -CustomResolution and -r switches to work properly.

It can be any resolution, I suppose, but the numbers need to be less than your screen max resolution.  For example if your screen is 1600x900, you could play on 1200x800.  If either number exceeds your screen resolution, you'll be defining a window bigger than your screen, which will likely get cut off.

Would that be this image, posted as "Something looks a little strange here : D" a few days ago?  This is just an image take on a larger screen resolution that is being downsized by your browser to fit your browser window.  The image itself is 1920x1080, which would have to be shrunk for your screen.  Zoom in on that image to 100% and the scale will look correct.

I wish there was some way to zoom in/out on region view, but as far as I know nobody has ever figured out how to do that.  On the other hand, if someone has figured that out, perhaps they could spread the word?
