I installed the DJEM mod, but it doesn't do anything. I'm not using any other terrain mods, so I only installed the one for Maxis and Teirusu terrains, and it is the absolute last file in my plugins folder.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? The diagonal edges are killing me :(

I managed to fix this, even though the solution doesn't make sense to me. I moved the mod into the "terrain mod" folder (which is otherwise empty) and now it works. I thought it didn't matter where mods go, as long as they're loaded in the right order?

Hehe, you kinda already answered your own question.. ;)

Basically folder names determine loading order and inside each folder it's the file name. That said, it's a bit more intricate and if interested I'd suggest using SC4DDataNode which allows you to see the exact loading order.

Hi pigeonpigeon,

The trouble with DJEM is that is makes changes to a certain property in the file that is also changed by several other mods. I once had the same problem and after some help I found out that the Gizmo water flora also changes the same property, so if you have this file too you need your DJEM to load after the Gizmo water flora. It is possible that other, non terrain, mods also makes these changes. So what I did: I made a Z01_Mods folder and put the DJEM there.
Hope this helps.

I don't have Gizmo water flora, and the odd thing is that by moving the DJEM mod into the "terrain mod" folder, it actually loads earlier than it did before. I actually saw your thread about it, FrankU, before making this one :) So, it works now so I'm happy, but I have no idea why it doesn't work if it sits directly in the plugins folder.

And that tool looks overwhelming, vortext, I looked at the screenshot of that program and it made my head hurt  ;)
