Question on MMLs

I'd like to create a Master MML for an upcoming project in addition to regular MMLs.

i.e.,

-Master MML
---MML 1
---MML 2
---etc

A single MML that a user can plop that will activate all the lots in the set, in addition to MMLs for various subgroups. Is there anything special I need to do besides the standard MML procedure? Will this cause problems when used properly-- don't use a master and a sub at the same time; and will it cause problems when used incorrectly-- both the master and one or more subs plopped.

Figured it couldn't hurt to ask since I'm at least a few days from starting the MMLs anyway. Hopefully someone knows because it takes a lot of work to make and don't want to delay things.

And yes, I really do need all these MMLs. It's for TMIP Volume 2. Looking at 160 lots minimum in 8 major categories that can be grouped into MMLs. Seems essential.

It's been a long time since I did an MML but I don't see any reason it wouldn't work. I've never tried hiding an MML with another however.

The easiest thing to do would be to test it with a couple of smaller ones first.

Also, can I recommend the DAMN? Especially if the lots are ones you'd plop multiple of.

I don't need to hide MMLs with another MML; I just wanted to make a shortcut for when people want everything displayed: Plop the single master MML instead of the 7-8 category MMLs.

I've never worked with DAMN before, but I'll look into it. No reason I couldn't let the user choose between DAMN or MML on install. Anything to make the project less daunting and more usable.

Ahh, I see what you are saying.... Umm, that I'm not so sure about.  You want the lots to have 2 MMLs controlling their visibility. You would have to test it. I'm not sure it'll work, because it relies on modding the Exemplar and the last MML loaded will be the exemplar it uses. You'd have to add both conditions to both sets of MMLs.  I'm not good enough with the rewards system to figure that out sorry.
