Hi all,

Is it possible to change the color of a roof of an existing building on an existing lot?  If so, is there a tutorial that would explain how?  Apparently buildings can't be accessed amd altered through LE or am I misunderstanding something?  Most tuturials I have been going through seem to start in the beginning with the B.A.T. of the building.  Too me it seems like it should be simple to just change the color of and existing roof but so far I haven't been able to figure it out.

Thanks for any help.  Steve

The only way to change the colours of a building is by making one in BAT.
Inside every old person is a young person wondering what happened. TP

Well, you could extract the textures, recolor them in a graphics program, and insert them in the model file as well. It's far from simple, though, but rather even more complicated than creating a new texture for gmax and re-render the building. ;)
