What is missing there? I noticed it after i took the screenshot, something is missing there..
the building is called Place des Pyramides if i remember right and  i also saw this at Place de America or however it was called?!I don'T know what's missing cause i never noticed it before  $%#Ninj2
Or is a mod blocking sth.?

thanks for your help  &apls

I fixed the image, so that it's visible in your post.

By the look of it, it seems like whoever made that lot, started with somebody else's residential lot where the building exemplar was referencing an invisible model.
If he didn't replace the building on the lot, the same building exemplar would still be in use.
The french buildings themselves on that lot are probably props.

Thus, it might be difficult to track down the missing dependency, other than going by the name.
If he didn't change the name, "Place des Pyramides" might be the name of the original building, that the guy who relotted used.

However, if you manage to find the lot for this one in your plugins,
it would probably be easier to edit the building exemplar, instead of trying to locate an invisible bat model... ::)

Unless someone else knows which building it is and where it's available...

Fabian93

OK I try to edit it in the LE... well if i'm able to find the file..
Can i clearly see that there is a missing dependency in the LE? A big brown box, just like in the game?
And I've worked a few times with the LE to create custom Lots but i don't know, if the Lot updates itself in the game.. do i have to destroy every existing corrupt building?
THanks for your help

BarbyW

If you can tell me the exact name of the lot - I have no trace of a Place des Pyramides - I might be able to help further. You will not see a brown box in LE when you are missing any dependency.
When you want to edit lots in LE they must be in the root of plugins and not in a folder or subfolder.

Hi, i don't know the exact name of it, cause i think every Lot is corrupt of Place des Pyramids, and there are several lots, but i've uploaded a list of those which i think might be the corrupt lots:

Edited to show image directly in this post...

I have no knowledge of these lots at all. Have you any idea where you downloaded them from? These need sorting out and we would love to help but need the source first.

Well and the dependencies list only says i need to have the dayofpeace.dat and i have that

Thanks for your help  :)

BarbyW

I have found these lots and will check them out but it may take some time as my German is non existent.

The Place des Pyramids lots included in that download reference building exemplars that are included.
Those building exemplars in turn reference a model file through RKT1, having an address of 0x5AD0E817,0x713D210C,0x00030000.

There is no model file with that address included in the download though.
However, the Cleanitol file included removes the following file:
Hotel Regina-0x5ad0e817_0x713d210c_0x30000.SC4Model

That's most likely the file you need to get rid of the brown boxes.
If you can locate it among the Cleanitol backups, try copying it back from there into your plugins.

Hallo Fabian!

Hello Fabian!

I wonder why you report a problem here at SC4Devotion when you have downloaded the file from SimCityKurier. The German SimForum would have been the appropriate address, or alternatively, the "Report problem" feature that is embedded into the Kurier. :) RippleJet is probably right, you used the Cleanitol file and removed the necessary building models - but the included Readme file clearly states that it is only intended to remove the files of an older version of the Rue de Rivoli set that might be installed.

However, if you do not have the old Rue de Rivoli,
the missing model file is not included in the download Fabian was referring to... ::)

That model is obviously an invisible building, with an Occupant Size of 1 m × 1 m

Oh sorry, it seems that I misread that part. I'll check the files again and post an update, if necessary. :)

EDIT: Ok, now I finally know what went wrong.  &ops  If you do not have the older version of the set, then the invisible model is indeed not necessary, since the new lots refer to the actual building model, rather than to the invisible one (I'm not sure if that was the way how xannepan made the original lots, or if that was added by N1_2888). The new set, however, uses the actual building model, so the invisible one is not needed any longer. What I missed when compiling the readme is that this particular lot should be bulldozed, rather than keeping it - or alternatively, keeping the invisible model.

First: Thanks for all the help within a short time..
Though,
1. I can not find the Hotel-Regina file, and i don't know where to find it.. i searched in the Sim City 4 folder under BSC_Cleanitol, but there are only .html files and undo.bat files, well i checked every html file but it wasn'T listed there :(
I dunno what to do now, is it possbile that i just edit every file and replace that invisible building with another invisible building in the LE?

And sorry, that i didn'T ask at Simforum, but when i created this thread i wasn't sure whether i downloaded it from the Kurier or from here...

It would be best to replace the address in the RKT1 with just zeros, 0x0, 0x0, 0x0.
However, I think Andreas is about to update that upload... ;)

No problems at all!
After all, the lots were installed in the BSC folder... ::)

Andreas

@Fabian93: I sent you a PM with another explanation in German. :)

@RippleJet: Well, we used the BSC folder in order to honor the original BATter - looks like it was a bit misleading in that case.  %confuso

This is my first post, so I hope I am doing it in the correct forum.  If not, please accept my apologies.

I am missing certain dependencies for several items downloaded at SC4D and Simtropolis.  I hope that someone might be able to let me know where I can find them (so I can get rid of those annoying brown boxes in my SimCity):

-NinjaBoulevardStation_ad9444e6.SC4lot
-PEG Ferry-Terminal RESOURCE.dat
-PEG Annabellin RESOURCE.dat
-BSC Texture Pack Volume 4 (bsc_curvedEdgePaths_v1.dat)
-PEG Pond-Kit 105.dat
-PEG CSK2 Fountains 205.dat
-BSC ReversePathOverlays Grass v1.dat
-BSC MiscellaneousTextures v1.dat
-PEG Sub-Mall 205.dat

Thanks in advance to ANYONE who can provide any assistance on where I can find these items!

BarbyW

There is a link at the top of every page with a brown box on. That is a list of dependencies with links to their current position. The BSC textures are all listed in there as they have been combined into MEGA Packs.
For the PEG dependencies I would suggest you check the STEX using Pegasus as the search or ask at the Pegasus site.
