If I recall correctly you can use CTRL-UP CTRL-DOWN to raise or lower the prop

New Horizons Productions
Berethor ♦ beskhu3epnm ♦ blade2k5 ♦ dmscopio ♦ dedgren ♦ emilin ♦ Ennedi ♦ Heblem ♦ jplumbley
M4346 ♦ moganite ♦ Papab2000 ♦ Shadow Assassin ♦ Tarkus ♦ wouanagaine
Divide wouanagaine by zero and you will in fact get one...one bad-ass that is - Alek King of SC4

By using the "ctrl" and "Arrow Up" keys you can lift items from the groung. By using "ctrl" + "arrow down" you can lower them.

Placing props on buildins is most of the times more then difficult. You have to realize that a buildings is basically a "set of pictures". When trying to place a prop above a building you will get all kinds of dimensional problems, solvable but difficult. Placing props inside a building is not possible ( unless the building has had the special treatment Cogeo gave his RR stations ) because of the LOD of the building, which is basically the shape on which the picture type building is projected.

Hope this has helped.
