Sorry to bring up another one... I have tried to track this down.. I've used the html Dedwoods Dependencies page and tried to sort my way through those and find none that I don't have. The page is not up to date as it has a number of broken links and links to no-longer used dependencies, so I am not TOTALLY sure.Anyways, I still come up with this issue

When I plop the lot it looks great. But slowly over time (over a few simdays) all convert to that dark blue flat texture. The readme warns of this problem when in underground view, but I've never used underground on that small city tile... They just slowly deteriorate.. from that point on they never seem to go back to transparent. I even tried to go to underground and back to see if it clears it.. it doesn't

Any ideas?

That is what causes it. These lots do not have a base texture or use a transparent base texture, if you will. Therefore, go into the zone view mode and back and it should, temporarily, fix it. (I believe)

You seem to be missing some dependancies

The 1 st is supposed to be in the BSC Essentials, which I have
2nd link is broken (Error 404)
3rd Link I had installed but it was replaced by another file update .. So I assume I have the most up-to-date since I have updated to that other one
4th link is a "Cannot display the webpage" so I'd class that also as "broken"
*edit: STEX was down when I linked this.. It links to BSC Farm Fields SG Vol 01 which I have installed. It is not listed on the "Dependency" LEX list so I'm not sure if its been updated.
5th link is a locked file with a note that it is replaced by another megafile BSC Megaprops Misc Vol 2 which I also have

In short I should have all the updates for all deadwood files unless its one of the broken links. I checked the Diggis Dependency checklist and find nothing new. Perhaps I'm interpreting these wrong.. anyone with knowledge on it, I'd appreciate the help .. thx

SC4Boy, this is the water graphics bug.  These lots don't have a base texture and will show like this sometimes.  The only way around it is to go into and out of zone view, or to not use them.

SC4BOY

hmmm.. ok.. well they appear even if I go into and out of zone view.. so I guess I'll delete and drop em..too bad. The look sooo nice when they are "normal".  I guess I've not had much of that before. I've never seen anything like this.. even the "water bug" .. do you know if some mode of using them agravates the issue?

thanks for your help.

Diggis

It's possibly to do with hardware or software rendering, but I'm not too sure.
